GPU Acceleration greyed out though my GPU is supported?

Dear Community,

I am using Premiere Elements 2020 for years and for my new computer I installed the 2022 trial version to see if I would upgrade. I am using a i7-12700k & Geforce RTX 3060 ti. The intel GPU is not compatible since it is very new.

After I set my 3060 ti as default in the Nvidia-Settings Premiere Elements detected it. There is even written that the GPU is supported but still GPU-Acceleration is greyed out.

Besides that, the Mercury Software Engine says "software only". Where can I set it to GPU?

Does anybody have an idea how to fix that?

Best

Marco

The GPU is supported, according to this page.

https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/gpu-acceleration.html

But go to the nVidia site and down the GeForce Experience app. Use it to make sure you have the latest drivers for that graphics card. Then reboot your computer and see what happens.

BTW, are you running Windows 10 or Windows 11?

Thank you. I am running Windows 10, I should have mentioned that, sorry.

Nvidia released a new driver 3 days ago. I installed it, rebooted and I still can not use GPU Acceleration.
