I never directly write a DVD from PrElements

Set your DVD output to an ISO file on your hard drive and then use something like the FREE https://www.imgburn.com/ to write the ISO to disc (send the author a PayPal donation if you like his program - DO be sure to uncheck anything you don't want from the download site) You may also use Imgburn for general backup of files or folders to disc

I google searched the model number.  That is a Blu-Ray burner.  If you are trying to burn Blu-Rays, it will no longer work with any Adobe products.

I once had a computer with a Pioneer Blu-Ray burner.  One of the Windows updates killed it and I never solved the problem.

The issue is that Premiere Elements uses the operating system (Windows) to link with all drives.  To do that, the Windows drivers have to be working.  That shifts it to a Windows challenge more than a Premiere Elements challenge.

Can you put a disc in your drive and see it as a functioning drive in Windows Explorer?  Can you copy files to it?

Bonjour,

Pour complément d'information, les autres soft utilisant le graveur détecte bien celui-ci.

Hello,

For more information, the other softwares using the burner detect it well.

Did your DVD burner come installed in your computer? If so, go to your computer manufacturer's web site (Hp, Dell, ASUS) and install from this site the original driver and firmware for your DVD burner.
