GTX 1080 not being used to render in Premiere Elements 2022

It says my graphics card is not supported even though it says the 1080 is supported on the site. My renders are taking forever when they used to take seconds or minutes. I have 32 gb of 3000MHZ ram and 3700x CPU.

Correct answer Ann Bens

it does not have the 19 folder in that link. its 20 for mine. I still put it in the allowed list and its still unsupported.

C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Premiere Elements\20.0\Online\Hw Acc Render\All_Lang\HW\Files\allowlisted_cards.txt

Yeah folder is depended on version used.

Make sure your card has the latest driver installed.

Please post screenshot of the Preferences/General

Please post screenshot of that allow list.

Elements can be rather messy with the support of the cards.

Go to

C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Premiere Elements\19.0\Online\Hw Acc Render\All_Lang\HW\Files\allowlisted_cards.txt

Add this text exactly to the list.

NVIDIA#NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080#

On a side note the GTX card does not accelerate exporting.

You need the Hardware Option in the export setting but that is only availeble if you have an Intel® CPU with Intel Media SDK supported.

Have you got your nvidia card supported as explained above?

-adding a line to a text file - the version number must be your version, so you may need to change the 20.0
--you of course also need to use the name of YOUR card, not the one discussed in the message below
