Question

GTX760 GPU Acceleration SUCCESS !!!

As I've mentioned before, the nvidia GTX750 is supported by default, my GTX760 is not
I filled out the contact page and was sent the update program... I ran it, and it did nothing
Later I read a message from another nvidia owner, who had to run the update multiple times
I went back to where I had saved the program and ran it three times in a row... SUCCESS !!!
My project settings now show that I have CUDA GPU hardware acceleration enabled
I added a video to my project that needed to be adjusted, and then clicked to RENDER
Subjectively (without having a stop watch) the render process ran quicker than before
So, if your card isn't in the default support list, fill out the contact form

-and be sure to run the program at least twice in a row (twice in a row may be enough)

I still have PPro/Encore CS6 that I bought several years ago, but I bought PrE-2021 to prepare for the day when a Win10 update MAY make my old CS6 stop working

Once past the stumble of an incompatible nvidia driver causing PrE to freeze and die when creating a DVD, I'm liking PrE a lot, especially the part of not having to leave the video editor and switch to a different authoring program

GPU acceleration makes a small difference in rendering speed, and part of the process of communicating with the Adobe person who sent me the update program was to send log files... I presume so my GTX760 may be added to the internal list so the next version will support that card 'out of the box' without needing to run a utility program

Anyway... back to reading and doing new things to continue learning the program

I have reapplied to the 'beta' program!  No joy so far....
