have license and trial version

Question

I have an old license (2016) which is registered.
 
When I launch the application, I have to login and then I get a screen for a 30 day trial period. How do I use my old license again?

Agree to the trial.

Then go to Help > Sign in from the Video Editor menu and enter your serial number when asked.

What I think should happen is that you would be asked to fill in the serial number. If you don't have it, you can get it by logging in to your Adobe account that you used to register the software when it was new.
