HEVC problem

I have a Osmo Pocket 3. I have taken 10 videos on the same day from the Osmo. I try to bring them into Premiere Elements. It brings in 8 videos and says there are two that it had a problem with HEVC. What the heck is going on. The videos were shot at the same video rate, why would it accept eight but complain about two. I usually end up having to load them up in Devinci Resolve and write them out to work with them. This make no sense.

I've had a Pocket 3 for almost two years and have not had your issue. I have my Pocket 3 set to H.264 because it is more reliable for editing in various brands and versions of software. What is your Pocket record setting?

What version of Premiere Elements are you using? Older versions on Windows computers often needed the user to buy the H.265 codec from Microsoft.
