Question

How can I crop an entire video at once?

Hi.

I have some clips that I had to splice together.  Of course they are all a bit off from each other.  I had to zoom this one in, rotate that one, slide one to the side a bit, etc.  Now that I got them all in line so the subject matter is centered, how can I then crop the whole thing to cut off the top/bottom/side since things don't like up any more?

I figured I could export the video and then edit that video and crop it, but is there a way to do the crop within the project itself?

Thanks.

You can use the Crop effect but check the Zoom option.

Do this for one clip, right-click on it and select Copy. Then select all of the other clips, right-click and select Paste Effects and Adjustments.

This is of course assuming the cropping you want applies to all the clips equally.

Thanks Steve for the reminder that pasting of effects works.   I had forgotten that!
