How do fix this audio problem I have?

I'm having a problem with the audio on premiere. I turn up the volume on my computer but I can never hear a thing. The volume works on other applications but for some reason it's not working. I tried messing around with the Master audio setting and it did nothing. I turned up every audio setting I could find and I couldn't discover how to turn the volume back on. I have tried multiple different audio clips but nothing made a sound. I also tried using ear buds and nothing happened. Can someone please help me figure this out?

My computer updated to "Windows 10 Creator" this morning.  Premier Elements went silent!!!  Using the suggestions in another topic fixed it.

Are you saying that no audio from any source in your video is playing in Premiere Elements?

Which version of the program do you have on what operating system?

Can you post a screen capture of your Audio Hardware settings?

Go to the program's Preferences (under the Edit menu in Windows) and open the Audio Hardware tab. Ensure that your output audio is properly configured. (How you do this exactly depends on which version of the program you're using on what OS.)

It's configured to speakers/headphones. I believe that's the right setting
