How do I add text to a motion tracking object?

Question

I have Premiere Elements 12.1 running on an iMac running High Sierra 13.

I am able to track an object using the Motion Tracking Tool. On the Track Object screen, it says "...you can use the motion to attach graphics or text to it." After defining and setting the object, the Track Object screen then says "Attach a graphic or text from the action bar below."

The only highlighted option in the action bar is Graphics.

I don't see an option under Graphics to just put text. I see options to put text into a graphic, but I simply wanted to assign a name to my tracked object but I don't see how to do that.

Am I missing something obvious here? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

To do this you'll need to create your text or titles before you do your tracking. Create the text you'll be using and then delete the titles from your timeline. Your text clips will remain in your Project Assets panel.

Create your Motion Track. Locate the title you created earlier in Project Assets (which will now be on the upper right of the program) and drag it onto your motion track.
