How do I change the platform from Win to Mac?

I bought the Premier Pro over a year ago and finally have a machine that will run it, but now I have trouble downloading it. It says that the platform is for Windows, but I have a Mac (I also had a Mac when I bought the product). How do I change it?

    I have downloaded the premiere elements 14 installation thing, but when i try to put my serial number in, it says it is not valid. I bought it through the Adobe homepage. ?


    This is  a user-to-user forum. If you've applied the serial number 1143-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX to your product and it did not take, you need to contact Adobe (via chat) or whichever vendor you bought the product from directly.

    You are correct, Bob. When you buy the download, you get it for either Windows or the Mac. Not both.

    But from tuva's first post, I thought the indication was only that he/she had trouble downloading and installing it.

    Just download the Mac version rather than the PC version of the program.

    Download Adobe Premiere Elements 2018, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10

    I thought that the license was for a single platform unless the disc version was purchased.

    What version do you have? If it is the CC subscription, install first the creative cloud app. With that you can manage your Adobe apps and keep them up to date.

    If, however, your version is CS6 or lower then it is not possible to change the platform.

    It says version 14 (?). But do I really have to pay for Creative cloud every month when I have already paid for the product?

    Isn't it Premiere Elements? What is Premiere Elements 14?
