How to save video to imbed in PowerPoint

I have an iMAC 10.11.6  OS X El Capitan

I'm using Adobe Premier Elements 11

I have made two different videos that I need to imbed in a PowerPoint. I saved the first one for Computer and it made a MPEG and Powerpoint won't recognize it. I got a prompt that said it couldn't insert it because either the file is non-standard or Quick Time is not installed properly.

This Powerpoint with the imbedded videos is for a really important presentation I'm giving on Monday at the Princeton Library, Princeton NJ.

HELP!!!
