How to turn off auto updates?

Hi, as the title says, how can I turn off auto updates in Premiere Elements?

I couldn't run the program and only got a popup that said updates were installing, try later. No progress bar or further information. That was pretty annoying.

I don't want the program to ever do this again, if possible.
