How to use PRE to take JPEGs and create slideshow [slow video]?

I've Googled this and looked at answers here, but still can't get started in the right direction.

I have 29 sequential images of eclipse, taken with Nikon D500. They have been cropped to 3444 x 3444 pixels.

I have them "Added". I can see them in "Project Assets". I do not know what to do next?

All the information I see within PRE relates to "video clips". I don't have one, so can't go forward.

I have tried eLive, Quick, Guided, and Expert modes. NADA.

There is a slideshow creator in Elements Organizer, but it does many things I don't want; music, scrolling, fades, etc. Is it the only option?

Should I abandon PRE and go to LR?

So how long do you want each slide to be in your slideshow? That will determine what you set the Still Image Duration preference to.

And please note that the preference change will only affect photos added AFTER you chance the preference. It won't affect photos already in your project.

First I'd recommend you resize them to even more like 2000x2000 pixels -- otherwise you're going to bog down the program as it throws away about 2/3 of your pixels. The closer to video resolution (1920x1080) the better a photo will look.

That said, what you do next depends on what you're trying to do.

Are you trying to produce a video using each of your photos as a separate frame of video? If so, BEFORE you add them to your project, go to program's Preferences (under the Edit menu on a PC) and, on the General page, set Still Image Duration to .033 (1/30) of a second. Then add your photos to your project and place them on your timeline in the order you'd like them to appear. Each photo will appear for one frame, giving you a time lapse of your photos -- thirty frames per second.

Steve, you missed the part about wanting a SLOW VIDEO. You also missed the part about wanting a "slideshow", where each image lasts several seconds.

I have a total of 29 images of the recent eclipse. I want to show the Moon SLOWLY blocking the Sun. The last frame is of the totality, showing a couple of flares extending beyond the edge of the Moon. I want that image to remain until the viewer has had time to look at the flares and the corona.

I decided that PRE was a poor tool for this project. I used LR 5 and have it completed. It lasts 1:17.
