I am using very old version of PE version 7, and cannot load a dvd as MPEG2 codec not activated, the activation link and websir states the copied coid code is invalid. anyone help

That is correct. This activation link has long been deactivated.

You can try installing the free trial of version 2018. Its possible this will install the component so that you can use version 7. But no guarantees. Version 7 was released over a decade ago.
