Question

I can't install Premiere Elements 15 on my new iMac

Hi.  I just got a new iMac (OS Big Sur 11.6) and tried to install Premiere Elements 15, which I was using on my old iMac.  Got a message that said the installer needs to be updated by the developed so that it will work with this version of the macOS.  Was advised to contact the developer.  Seems Apple is now running 64bit hardware and software and (older?) 32bit apps would no longer be compatible.

Anyone else encountered this problem and/or have a solution?

Thanks.

Here is a link to back up what John wrote:  https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/macos-big-sur.html

The current version is 2022 and, if history reapeats itself, will go on sale during the holiday shopping spree for about $60 or $65.
