Importer reported a generic error (4K video from DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2)

Recording video in 4k (tried both 4096x2160 and 3840x2160 - 30 fps) and trying to import into Adobe Premier elements 15 but getting the error "The Imported reported a generic error".  Works fine with 1080P.  These same 4k videos will import just fine into Adobe After Effects.  Tried changing project settings in Elements but the video format is grayed out.  Any assistance is appreciated.

If it helps, I can confirm the current version of Premiere Elements works well with 4K30 from a DJI Mini 2.

4k or UDH?

The spec is 3840 x 2160p at 24/25/30 fps (100 Mb/s H.264/AVC, MPEG-4 but DJI (and othrs!) call it "4K".

I am guessing E15 is too old (2016) for handling such resolution.

1920x1080 is as far as you can go.

You cannot compare Elements with Ae. Two completely different programs.
