Importing WMV files into Premiere 14

Supposedly premiere 14 can import WMV files but not into my program. Anyone else have this problem?

    It is not "supposedly" because Premier Elements "does" work with Windows Media Video files.   Before anyone can guess ways to help, can you please reply with more detail about how you are trying to Add Media and where the failure is?
