Impossibilità di usare Premiere Elements 2020

I ask for help with a problem with Premiere Elements 2020.

In the middle of last September I bought an HP laptop.

Since I already expected to have to buy the aforementioned Adobe software, the seller had informed me that the characteristics of the new PC made it compatible with any version of Premiere Elements up to 2020 inclusive, therefore excluding 2021.

Last week I bought an official copy of Premiere 2020 on the Amazon site as I only found the 2021 version on the Adobe site.

I regularly installed the software and at the first opening of the program, before I could even try it, Adobe offered me to install the new version 18.0 (20200130.daily.2070236). Which I immediately did.

At the end of the installation of the new version I finally tried Premiere by copying on the storyboard some clips that I have in memory on the PC. The result was a series of gray and green horizontal lines that completely cover the entire screen excluding the storyboard part and very loud rustles and crackles that cover the audio.

I report below the characteristics of the PC:

I am wondering if anyone can give me a suggestion to solve the problem.

The vendor of the PC I consulted tells me that it is probably a simple problem of updating the video cards. From Video Card Properties in Device Manager it appears that the installed drivers are already the latest version. The notebook has a dedicated video card such as Intel UHD Graphics and Radeon 530 series.

If you're asking if version 2021 will work on your computer, the answer is yes, it will. Your laptop is not very powerful, but you will be edit basic high-definition video. And, yes, you should update the drivers from your graphics card's web site. nVidia, AMD or Intel.

Grazie per la vostra risposta, ma io so già che sul mio computer non
posso installare la versione 2021. Per questo motivo ho acquistato
l’edizione 2020 e successivamente installato, su indicazione Adobe, la
versione 18.0.

Il mio problema è che non funziona neanche Premiere Elements 2020 e che
sembra che i driver delle schede video siano già nell’ultima versione
disponibile.

In alternativa mi andrebbe bene anche downgradare Premiere alla versione
2019, tanto ho visto che la 2020 stessa non è molto diversa da quella
che ho sempre usato in precedenza (la 2013). Ovviamente senza alcun
costo aggiuntivo.
