Incorrect Exported Image Size in Premiere Elements 2023

We have two versions of Premiere Elements, 2023 & 2025. A 1920X1080 movie is imported into both and both are exported with selected device of 1920X1080. The 2023 version seems to produce a size like 1400X ????. We have tried everything even to match the frame size. The 2025 version has no problem exporting correctly. One of the suggestions was to look at sequence settings, but it is either hidden or not available on the 2023 version.

Any thoughts?

Edit > Project Settings > General there you will find the ' sequence' setting (although grayed out)

Since it would be grayed out, are you saying I can only make adjustments by starting with a new project? (in 2023?)

No. You can set the Sequence Settings by selecting the option under the Edit menu at any point in your project. You should have the Timeline panel selecting when you do this, however, or it will be grayed out.
