Install BOTH Photoshop Elements 2022 and Premiere Elements 2022?

Is it necessary to install both of these programs to get them to work? I've only installed Premiere Elements on my MacOS (v.11.6.6) so far, and I can't get the Photo Editor or Organizer to open.

Premiere Elements is the video editor.

Photoshop Elements s the photo editor.

The Organizer is installed if either Premiere Elements or Photoshop Elements is installed.

Thank you for clarifying. I wasn't the one who purchased these programs, and the email with the serial numbers did not make it clear which serial number was for which program. I happened to download Premiere Elements first and did not realize that it is for editing video. I'll download Photoshop Elements, which is the program that will do me the most good right now.

How would you expect to get the photo editor to open if you haven't installed the program?

I didn't understand the difference between Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements. Another person in my organization purchased the programs, and simply passed along to me the email giving me access to them. I wasn't familiar with Premiere Elements and just happened to install it before installing Photoshop Elements.

Although the programs will launch each other, they are independent programs, and you don't need to run all three to run any one.
