Insufficient disk space on drive for creating temporary burning files

I'm using a Mac with Premiere Elements 14 and trying to burn an ISO image. I've never had a problem before - I've done many - but today I'm getting the message "Insufficient disk space on drive for creating temporary burning files" and don't know how to fix it. Where do I find the temporary files folder on a Mac?  Do I simply need to delete everything there? If I uninstall Elements and then reinstall it, will the problem go away? Help desperately needed!

Thanks,

Martin

Hi Peru,

Problem solved - although I had deleted files from the harddrive to create space, I didn't realise that it doesn't actually clear it until you empty the Trash on the iMac itself.

Thanks for your reply.

When I create a new project I go into settings and TELL the program where to place all temp files (this is version 2021 on Windows) so I have no idea where the default location is for temp files... does your version have an 'expert' mode where you may change settings, so you may see the current temp file location?

What are the hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?
