Intel Core i7 required for XAVC-S??

Renting a Sony PXW-X70 for a weekend shoot and plan to go full HD 60 fps.

I know I can shoot AVCHD but want to try the XAVC-S.

A lot of questions here are outdated and now we have Premiere Elements 2018

Question 1 - It says Intel I7 required - well how about a Ryzen 5 1600 6 core processor (WILL THAT WORK)??

Question 2 - Maybe AVCHD is good enough and more manageable in adobe 2018??

Question 3 - any other secrets or has time and new version  finally caught up to this dilemma??
