Is it possible to record digital video directly from a webcam into Adobe Premier Pro 2022 via USB?

I'm finding conflicting information online and even within the adobe website. 

A live agent informed me that it's not possible with Premier 2022 but IS possible with Premier 2019. But this same rep also told me that the whole CAPTURE feature is not available in the 2022 version, which doesn't seem to be accurate. 

I'm just trying to find out if this feature is available, otherwise I will have to find another program to use instead. I'm also a bit frustrated that it took almost an hour of research and support with no clear answers.

Are you asking for Premiere Pro or Premiere ELEMENTS.

You cannot capture a webcam over usb in Premiere Pro 2022 nor in all previous versions.

You can however with Premiere Elements all versions incl 2022.

You can always download the trial and have a go at the program for a month.
