Is Premiere Elements 2025 an experiment?

Is Premiere Elements an experiement?  Im not being facieious, this is a legitimate question.  Aside from the learning curve  and shuffling around a split screen to get to other things on my desktop to review before I add them, I am behind schedule  for my workload.  At first it wasnt too bad. I just had to spend time watching videos and reading articles.  Im in the middle of a video and have to rebuild the first segment.  When I opened PE there were so many random images and videos from my laptop in Elements Organizer I couldn't work that way. I have tried everythig I read and watched to clear all images and clips to no avail. Most of the menue on top is grayed out. I restarted, cleared cache......nothing is working .  Am I able to get a refund or perhaps get PE-2025 replaced with PE-2024 (providing it's not comparable to 2025)? My workload is pleading for help.

Elements 2025 is a stripped down version of Premiere Pro. Its quite different from previous versions.

I would not use Organizer but rather Explorer to import assets.

Adobe won't do that.

Are you using Advanced Edit (not Quick or Guided)?
