Is there a keystroke to centre CTI in current window?

I'll start with the simple ones (in multiple posts)

1. Is there any keystroke which centers the CTI (Current Time Indicator-red vertical line) in the current window - It's a PITA to zoom out/in to find the incator

2. I've made (pretty easily) a 4hr compilation of 1970-80's home movies  with titles and transitions (nothing fancy). QUESTION?: Export says there are 19 "segments" to to .prel file - Does the 19 inlude each Title and Transition as well as each "segment"  of the video track???

Correct answer Bill Sprague

1. Click your mouse pointer in the row with the timing numbers.  It is above the timeline window.  The CTI will jump to that spot.

2.  I've never done a 4 hour video.  Do you have a screen shot of the export messages?

Tape > dvd > handbrake > final export.

That is quite some compression on old footage. Wonder if there is any image quality left?

Suggestions about better procedures are welcome!

I tried to limit quality loss at each step, final results (.prel) are
viewable

What tool did you use to get the tapes digitalized onto your pc?

What will be your final product.

1. CTI - Bingo! (and logical) - not sure why I didn't try that! Thanks

4. 4hr video - see attachment

Note - these were all on VHS tapes - I first converted them to DVD's using
existing equipment, then used "Handbrake" to digitize as mp4's. Last step
was to use Premiere to edit and combine.

I'm new to Premiere, but have used Photoshop Elements for thousands of
pictures.

That Tape>DVD>Handbrake workflow to a 4 hour timeline has so many variables in it, nobody will be able to predict the outcome.  Premiere Elements is extraordinarily reliable with ordinary MP4/H.264 footage from common cameras.  Outside of that is often a puzzle.
