Is there a limit to how many fotos and videos I can merge to one video?

I'm more or less a fotographer. I also take some videos. After my holidays I always create a video out of the material. In the past, there was a limit to how many media i was allowed to use. Is it still the same or am I free now?

In Apple's program i don't have a limitation, but i would like to try out ADOBE for maybe better results

I've not experienced any limits to the number of clips or image files.   Nor have I read of any.   However, it may be that disk space, RAM and processors have limits.  There may also be issues if too many image files have not been resized to match the project settings when you don't have fast disk drives or enough RAM.
