Issues with Opacity?

I've been using Adobe Premiere 2022 to produce DVDs of our trips. I use images and videos from all of our fellow travelers.  After completing two volumes I was in the process of producing Volume III when I came upon a troublesome issue.  When I placed a transition on one of the videos it turned bright yellow and the video title changed from .MOV to "rubberband-opacity-opacity".  As I continued I found that all of the videos in the show that were taken by one indiviudal had the same issue.  The videos were captured with an iPhone 13 Pro.  Ironically, I captured many videos with an iPhone 13 Pro and they all came out great.

Wondering why I didn't have this issue with volumes I and II and opened them up in Premiere and found that all of the videos captuured by the same individual and "crashed" in a similar manner.

One thing that perhaps could have contributed to this issue is that my PC and gone into an update during the night and it was the next day that this issue popped up.

I'd appreciate and and all thoughts on this as we have three trips coming up and we hope to continue using Premiere to produce shows when we return

Thanks

I will GUESS that you used a different setting for your files

Exactly what is INSIDE the video you are editing?
Report back with the codec details of your file, use the program below
Free program to get file information for PC/Mac http://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download
- a MediaInfo tutorial https://youtu.be/Ivy9ckSX1M0
- when you analyze your file in MediaInfo and post a screen shot in the forum, do so in TREE view
- post your information IN your message, not as an attachment that someone would have to download

Malwarbytes keeps blocking the mediaarea download.  Can I assume it's safe and tell Malwarbytes let it through?

What transition?

I placed a film dissolve initially. I deleted that transition and tried several others, all with the same result. I am a bit concerned that the program has been corrupted somehow.

Thanks for the quick response

I'm trying to duplicate the "rubberband".  Can you post a screen shot?
