Just installed Premiere elements 12 but cant sign in to use it

Hello.  I bought premiere elements 12 years ago and decided to install it onto my windows 10 laptop tonight.   When I open premiere elements 12 up and says i have 7 days to sign in.  I try to do the qr code thing but it goes back round into the sign in loop.  I try to paste url into webpage and get same result. I am stuck in a loop where I have to sign in but it never signs in and returns to the loop.   I bought premiere elements 12 and would like to use it ????   anyone know how to solve this issue?   thanks
