Keeping uploaded images in numerical order

How do I keep a batch of images that I have uploaded to the asset box in numerical order.

If I take a batch of, say, 20 images/files from a folder and upload them to elements they appear in a different order to that in the original folder. This means that I have to rearrange the files individually onto the timeline rather than copy and paste them. This take a long time but is also irritating if you miss 1 or 2.

How do I avoid this and make my workflow quicker and more efficient?
