Keyframe animation with PrEl

Could someone point me to a basic tutorial on setting keyframes in Premiere Elements?

I need to relearn the basics. It does not work the way I expect: I move to position 1, create a keyframe, move to position 2, and create a second keyframe. Simple enough, but when I go back to keyframe 1, the set position has changed! Huh? I need to figure out what I am doing wrong.

Prmiere Elements 14, Win 10
