Launching Premiere Elements 15 from Organizer gives wrong project settings

Hi,

I am relatively new to Premiere Elements and Photoshop.  I am using the organizer to launch the photo and video editor.  Recently while editing a video project, I came across an error that said my video clips did not match the project settings.

From Organizer, if I select several video clips, all with the same dimensions, filmed using the same device, then when Premiere Elements is launched, it doesn't adjust the project settings when it loads the clips.  It sets it to 'HD 1080i' even though all the clips are 720p.  In fact no matter what source of video clip I use, it incorrectly sets the project to 'HD 1080i'.  Unless I am missing something, this makes organizer useless for video.

    Hi,

If you select multiple clips from organizer or within Premiere elements and drop in timeline, Premiere elements does not know the dimensions of each clip, so it sets the project settings to default(HD 1080i)

If you select a single clip from organizer or Premiere elements and drop in timeline then it will switch project settings to clip settings.

after dropping first clip in timeline then if you select multiple clips from organizer or premiere elements, project settings will not change.

    It depends on first clip.

i want to add one more thing here, If you delete the clip from timeline and add another clip with different dimension then it will not change the project settings. Project settings will remain same. To resolve that problem, you need to create new project.

    Thanks,
