Loading a 4k video into elements 2018

I only get the audio portion when I try to load a 4k file into Elements.  I can not change the preference to higher than 1920   x 1080  and yet you can save in 4k

    I do 4K UHD from a couple Panasonic cameras routinely with no issues.  What is the source of your video clips and how are you creating the project settings?

    It might also be worth opening your video in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy the report that is regenerated to this forum.

    This can help us see if there's an issue with the video itself (eg, it uses an HEVC codec).
