Lost audio on Premiere Elements 15

I have lost audio on all my video clips when playing on Elements 15. They still have audio when playing as normal video on TV or PC but when I want to play in Elements, no audio. I have recently installed the Microsoft photo app, as I wanted to convert file formats, could this be the problem?

By "all audio" I'm assuming you mean that audio from your videos, audio from Scores and WAV files you've added to your project do not play even though you see waveforms for all of these files on your timeline.

I also assume you don't have a USB microphone plugged into your computer.

If so, it's likely a configuration issue. Open the program's preferences (under the Edit menu on a PC) and, on the Audio Hardware page, try some different configurations of the Input and Output settings.
