I don't know what Premier Pro does.  In Elements there is a Project Asset box.  In the corner is a menu button.  Activate it and you get a choice to make folders.  I generally make a separate folder for each type of asset.   You can then import media to those folders or drag and drop within Project Assets.

this helps a little but once i made folders and imported items to them they disappeared from projects assets window. i could only view them from the organizer but then i cannot even see the premier timeline. this software works nothing like premier pro where you have a projects window in the editor with bins you can open that have clips music effects titles ect. i'm sure it works but it's super confusing.

Elements is a whole different piece of software.

Your project window is the Project Assets dropdown menu.

You can import folders with content that Elements supports or

You make the folders in advanced in Elements,

import footage and drag into the folder.

To navigate between folders use the folder icon at the top.

    It not very intuitive.
