Missing text after export in Premier Elements

So... after figuring out how to insert text (used wingdings to get an arrow because I couldn't find an arrow shape) and getting the color to change, I was able to create a red arrow pointing to something in the video. I actually have two places in the video where I do this and when I view it in Premier Elements the arrow shows up in both places, but when I export to get a MP4 file, the second arrow doesn't show on the exported file.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are doing.

Essentially it sounds like two titles (arrows). Try putting the first title on video track 2 and the second one on video track 3.

Even better, download the free program MediaInfo and open one of your videos in it. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy and paste the report it generates to this forum.

As I've said, if you see the graphic in your preview but it disappears when you output your video, it's related to your source video and your project settings, so please answer our questions as completely as possible or we can't help you.

I tried putting the second arrow on video track 3 and that worked. Now the first arrow (video track 2) shows up where I want in the exported video and the second arrow (video track 3) shows up later in the exported video where I want it.

I'm inserting an arrow pointing at one object early in the video and then inserting an arrow pointing at a different object later in the video. I was trying to do this by adding them both on video track 2. And, that works when I play it back in Premier Elements, but when I export the video to MP4, then I lose the second arrow. I can try putting the second arrow on video track 3 and see if that works. Thx for the suggestion. And, to answer Steve's Q, I'm just using a Sony CyberShot camera in movie mode to shoot the video.

What model of camcorder is your original video coming from and what is the video's format and resolution?

If you look under the Edit menu at Project Settings, what is listed on the General page?

Some video source formats can kick graphics out of position.
