I can't figure out how to make Motion Tracking work and all the online tutorials are for older editions with a different interface. Can someone help?

The principle is the same in all of the last couple versions of the program, David. All you need to do is click the Tools button on the Toolbar along the right side of the program and select Motion Tracking. The basic interface for the tool itself is virtually the same.

This tutorial should work for pretty much any version.

FWIW, my Muvipix Guide book on Amazon takes you step by step through the process with the current version of the program.

What part is giving you problems?

Okay, am I just old (spoiler alert: yes) or is Premiere screwing with me? I tried clicking on Motion Tracking maybe a dozen times but never got "Select Object" / "Track Object" on the upper left... till just now. Don't have time to go further at the moment but the basic problem, at least, is solved. Thanks...
