Question

Mouse wheel zoom on timeline...no longer possible?

So I just bought Premiere Elements 2018 as I was looking for something easy to help a young person with a video project. How do I use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out of the timeline? This feature was definitely in Premiere Elements years ago, and it has always been a staple in Premiere Pro and practically every other NLE (except FCP lol). The timeline zoom is normally done with ALT+MouseWheel.

So am I missing something, or is it really gone?

Moderator can you please move the discussion back to the Premiere Elements forum? I accidentally added "Pro" in the name of the software I purchased, but I did say "Elements 2018" and posted it in the Elements forum. Thanks

I've never known zoom-by-mouse-wheel to be a feature of Premiere Elements.

If you are talking Premiere Pro then yes it is still alt+mouse wheel to zoom in on mouse icon

Imo this feature is broken.

Alternative: plus and minus key.

Are you using a 4K monitor?

I'm moving your question to the Premiere Pro forum.
