.mov file in premiere elements organizer

Organizer is unable to load a .mov file shot with my iPhone6. Get the error that "the selected file cannot be played because your system does not have the required compressor/decompressor (codec) installed." This is a new error, as I've used organizer fine in the past. However, I can load and view the video on my computer (not using Organizer), and if I transfer the video into premiere elements video editor, the movie plays in the timeline just fine. Someone help? I'm using Premiere Elements 15. Have updated quick time player (verion 7.7.9). Any thoughts?
