MP4 Dissolve problem

Question

I created a 13 minute show using both still images and video for a travel site we use. After uploading it to their site they posted it. The images and videos are fine but the dissolves deteriorate significantly.

I used film dissolves for the majority of the show.

Any idea why?

I also burned a DVD that is fine and the program looks fine when I play the MP4 version on my computere.

You write that the MP4 plays fine on your computer, so my guess is that the problem is that your host used excessive compression to save file space or upload time.   The video itself is probably of less quality too.  But, maybe it is not as noticeable to the eye.
