Multiple Main Menus

I am working with Premiere Elements 12.1 on an iMac running High Sierra 10.13.

 

I read a support article that implies you can have multiple main menus, but I can't figure out how to get it to work.  I would like to make a DVD of a four day trip to Disney.  I would like my main menu to have the four days displayed, then choosing a day would bring up a scene menu for that day.  Each day would have 4-6 scene markers to various activities for that day.  

 

The goal is to allow someone who wanted to jump to a scene on day 4 for example from not having to go through a number of "next" menus to get to the one scene desired.  

 

I also would like the ability from the main menu to just do a play all and have it run through all 4 days.  (It's a 2 hour movie.)  The article I read implied that you could have multiple main menus, but it sounded like you couldn't play through the entire DVD if you did.  It wasn't very clear on that.

 

Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Multiple main menus is not a feature of Premiere Elements, Rickster. 

To create something more than basic disc menus you'll need to output your finished movie(s) from Premiere Elements and then create your disc menus in a dedicated authoring program like DVD Architect.

Thanks, but I'm a little confused.  The following information came from 

Premiere Elements User Guide > Disc Menus from helpx.adobe.com (although I don't know what releases it applied to)

 

Menu-based with scenes menu

These are best for presenting single long movies that play well from start to finish, but that also contain scenes that you can access from a submenu. From the main menu, you can choose to play the whole movie or go instead to a scenes menu. The scenes menu lets you navigate to scenes within the movie. You generally set up the project so that each scene represents an interesting point in the movie. However, it is possible to start a scene whenever a certain amount of play time has elapsed, or anywhere else.

Menu-based with several movie selections

These are best for presenting a set of individual movies that you don’t want to combine into a single movie. For example, in a wedding disc, you might want to present the preparations, the ceremony, and the reception as separate movies. Each will have its own button on the main menu.

 

The first option I am very familiar with.  In my case, I have a 2 hour movie representing 4 days at Disney.  To get to a scene on the 4th day (say someone wants to watch the parade) from one main menu would reuire going through multiple next menus to get to the scene.  Unless I'm misreading it, the 2nd option would allow me to have 4 movies, each with a button on the main menu, (day 1, 2, 3 or 4 in my case) so to get to the parade it would be one click on day 4 then click on the parade.  Am I not understanding how this works?  Is the "wedding disc" referred to above just something that consists of 4 separate entities I somehow create sepatately and then bring in to my final project?
