Music score becomes corrupted by another music clip score during project editing

When I place a music score on the timeline, it will often become corrupted. By corrupted, I mean there will be segments from a different score mixed in with the original. It seems to be related to changing the length of the content of one or more video clips either manually or by ’delete and close gap’ in the vicinity of the score. I have tried deleting the score and then placing it again, but corruption persists. It’s a show-stopper. Has anyone had this issue? and has anyone found a solution?

Are you saying that you are using Scores music and that they are corrupting no matter which track you put them on?

Yes. I have places then on a few different tracks but still have occasional corruption.

My ‘trim/remix’ is set to remix.

I am going to try it on trim on another video I’m working on.

This is odd! I think I know this lancet4498 guy from a previous life of flying small airplanes together.

It is time I spend some effort figuring out music tracks a little better!

Lance, can you post a screen shot of your timeline?

Legend

Which version of the program are you using on what operating system?

Where did your music track come from and what format is it in?

Does every WAV file music clip you add to your project do this or only this particular clip? Does it happen if you place it on another audio track?

If this is a fairly recent version of the program, it could be related to the trim/remix preference for the Music track.
