Need help moving temporary files in Premiere Elements 2022

Since upgrading to Premiere Elements 2022, the following folders began appearing in my project folder:

  • Adobe Premiere Elements Audio Previews
  • Adobe Premiere Elements Auto-Save
  • Adobe Premiere Elements Captured Audio
  • Adobe Premiere Elements Video Previews
  • Score Files

I really don't want these folders cluttering things up since I have 30 or so clips in my project folder at any given time, as well as my own sub-folders. I know I can delete them, but when I load the program they just come back. I've tried changing the path settings in Preferences->ScratchDisks, but that has made no difference; they always show up in whatever folder my project file is in. Can anyone help?

Folders are auto generated.

I would not delete auto save: if project gets unusable you will have nothing to fall back on.

They are part of the program's function and need to be there.

I suppose you could delete them when you've finished a project, but they shouldn't take up that much space. Even my largest projects only store a couple of gigs of data in these folders and these are pretty much all preview files produced when I've rendered my timeline.
