New hardware for premiere elements 2021 GPU acceleration

I just had a chat with an adobe specialist about this. I'll put the transcript below.

Now, it could still be that this person is wrong, so if anyone has some real world experience, that would be great.

sufficient for the faster rendering and export of your project using Premiere elements.

mentioned video cards then help with the final export?

be supported one and it will be used for the high performance acceleration by the application.

dedicated media processing capabilities of Intel® Graphics Technology to decode/encode fast, enabling the processor
to complete other task and improve performance. Currently, this only supports encoding H.264, MPEG2 and MPEG4
codecs. This feature is only available if an Intel® CPU with Intel Media SDK support is used.

Along with Steve's suggestions, consider a SSD upgrade.  The read and write speeds are faster than HDs.   I reserve a section of my SSD for video editing.  I put the project, scratch disks and copies of all the assets in single folder dedicated to the project.  When I am done or not working on the project I move the entire project folder to another location.  If I want to work on it again, I move the project's folder back to the SSD "C:\" drive. 

I'd focus on the CPU. Version 2021 uses more GPU power, but only for timeline preview. It doesn't effect the general performance or output speed.

Check out these benchmarks. Any CPU rating a 7000 or greater is good for general AVCHD editing -- over 10,000 is excellent for editing just about any video.
