Nikon Raw Files (.NRW)

I am somewhat frustrated as my Photoshop Premier Elements classes Nikon raw files (.NRW) as an invalid file type. Is there any way round this please?

Are you using the correct product to open them?

Photoshop Elements is for image files (such as NRW files).

Premiere Elements is for video editing.
