No Audio in Premiere Elements 10 . How can I fix this ?

I opened my program and my video project and now I don't have any audio. There is no help available in chat from what I am told

    Are you saying you HAD audio but suddenly don't -- no matter what audio or video you add to your timeline?

    It's likely an audio setting got switched.

    Go to the program's preferences (under the Edit menu on a PC) and, on the Audio Hardware page, change some of the settings and see if it makes a difference.
