No audio on Premier Elements 2026

Upgraded yesterday from 2022 to 2026.

Now have no audio and getting messages "MME device internal error. Do you want to open the Hardware preference?" and....

"One or more clips in this project had their Audio Volume set to Bypass. The control formerly called "Bypass" has been replaced with "Mute". You will need to switch to use the Fx button instead, otherwise your audio may be silent."

I'm not at all techie but have tried to find a solution but failed.

Can aybody help? Luckily I still have 2022 which works perfectly.

Make sure Default Input in the Audio Hardware in the Preferences is set to No Input.
