No Maximize Button - Clip Trim Window (Premiere Elements 15)

I am using Premiere Elements 15 on Windows 10. When I double click a clip on the timeline, a small trim window pops up. I find this easier and more accurate than trimming a clip directly on the timeline. However, I have to resize this window every time since I would like the window to be larger. This windows does not have a maximize button nor does it remember it's size. Resizing this window can be finicky. You have to hover the mouse at just the right place to get the resize arrows.

Am I missing something in the settings? Is there some keyboard shortcut that would maximize the window? Or is this something that could be fixed in an update to the software?

Thanks!

No, there is nothing that you can change to make it stay larger.

However, rather than close it, just double click on a different clip.

    I'm with Bill.

Once I open the Clip Monitor/Trimmer and size it, I usually set it off to the side in my second monitor and leave it open. That way, if I want to preview another clip, it will already be sized to my preference.
