No sound on Macbook Pro 2020 M1 with Monterey

Premiere Elements 2022 does not play the sound. The audio level can be seen in the audio mixer, but the sound is neither passed on to the internal speakers nor to an HDMI device.
The sound of the integrated sound files cannot be heard either.
have played through all options under settings audio devices and no success.
even deleting and reinstalling with a new path do not help.
Sound output of all other programs on the Macbook will work, just not Premiere.
The strange thing is that the audio mixer in Premiere shows the level, so it fails to transfer the sound to the OS Macbooks.
Everything works on an identical Macbook with OS Big Sur

Check it: Preferences - Playback - Primary Audio Device (choose: Adobe Desktop Audio).

My story was that I installed the NDI Tools on my MacBook Pro (M1 Pro) and it automatically made its changes to Adobe Premiere. I lost sound, although the sound indication was working. Even after I suspected the problem and uninstalled NDI Tools, but NDI Output continued to appear in Adobe Premiere. So if you install livestreaming apps and others with audio channels, check this out)

Error found after over 3 years without help from Adobe Support
Shame on you Adobe Support
It was an NDI Tools problem
Solution:
OS X
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-Ins/7.0/MediaCore
Delete these files
NewTek SpeedHQ.bundle
NDI_Transmit_AdobeCC.bundle
Restart Premiere with <SHIFT> + <OPTION>, empty media cache
Now I can finally use the program with audio

Can you please share the list of different audio devices connected to your machine? Also, if multiple devices are connected to the machine, please remove other audio devices and use only the internal speakers and relaunch the product. Please select the correct audio output settings from the preferences.

If this works, then reconnect the other audio devices and try to use the same in Premiere Elements 2022. Please share your findings here.

I have not connected any other audio hardware. There is only the internal sound device of the Macbook.

Many Thanks. Unfortunately, it doesn't work then either. I've already tested it.
I even reinstalled Monterey today, to no avail.

I have just heard from Adobe Support that Premiere Elements 2022 is not compatible with MacOS 12.xxx.
Wonder why this software has "2022" in its name if it doesn't even run on an operating system from 2021.
