No Webcam in Adobe Premiere Elements 2026

I just purchased the 2026 versions of Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Elements, and the prior version of Premiere Elements I used had an option in "Add Media" for Webcam, using that to film footage directly into the program. However, unlike said old version (2023 for those curious), which had 6 options for adding media including the Webcam, 2026 is only showing 2: Elements Organizer and Files and folders. Is there a reason Webcam isn't showing up there? Is it not still part of the software?

No.

Although you will find more options for importing your video in Advanced View rather than Quick.

I was checking in Advanced View, that this is all that pops up. I checked "Videos From Cameras and Devices", but the option for webcam never popped up. Nor did it in any other option.

Also to clarify, when you said "No," which question was that the answer to?

You cannot import directly into 2026 from a webcam.

You will have to transfer the files first to your harddrive and then import into Elements.
