Not a question but share frustrating experience

I want to share a very frustrating experience I had with v2026. Upon installation Premiere Elements and/or Microsoft evidently reset defaults… one of which was .mp4 files to Premiere Elements. Whenever I exported a movie and attempted to play it back, all it did was reload the project file, even though it said it was a .mp4 file. Finally, I went into Microsoft ‘default’ settings and reset .mp4 to a different program (in my case I selected media classic player) and all of a sudden the file played as a normal video file. Wow, how frustrating until I figured it out. Hopefully this might save someone else some frustration.
